Karen Pryor spent a lifetime teaching, training and working with animals and people. When she started training, marker-based positive reinforcement training existed only on paper. She breathed life into it.
Today, we honor her life and legacy, a true pioneer in the fields of animal behavior and positive reinforcement training. Her groundbreaking work revolutionized how we communicate with animals—and each other—leaving an indelible mark on science, education, and the lives of countless species around the world.
